Step-by-step guide to importing Shopify File Saved Searches
Step 1: Install Coefficient and connect to Shopify
First, you need to install the Coefficient add-on and connect it to your Shopify account:
- Open Google Sheets
- Click on Extensions > Add-ons > Get add-ons
- Search for “Coefficient” and install it from Google Workspace Marketplace
- Once installed, open the Coefficient sidebar by clicking Extensions > Coefficient > Launch
- Click “Import Data” to begin

- In the Coefficient sidebar, find and click on “Shopify” under the Ecommerce category
- Log in to your Shopify account when prompted
- Select “Import from Objects” (not Reports)
- Browse or search for “File Saved Searches” in the objects list
- Click on “File Saved Searches” to select it

Step 3: Configure and import your data
Now you’ll configure what data to import and where it should go:
- Choose which fields you want to import (ID, name, query, etc.)
- Apply any filters if you only want specific saved searches
- Select where in your spreadsheet you want the data to appear
- Click “Import” to bring the data into your Google Sheet
Step 4: Set up auto-refresh (optional)
Keep your File Saved Searches data fresh with automatic updates:
- Click on the “…” menu next to your imported data
- Select “Schedule Refresh”
- Choose your preferred frequency (hourly, daily, weekly)
- Set specific times for the refresh to occur
- Click “Save” to activate the auto-refresh schedule
