Tutorial: Connecting ClickUp to Google Sheets

Step 1. Install Coefficient

Before we get started, you’ll need to install Coefficient in Google Sheets. Don’t worry, it’s a fast and straightforward process that you only need to do once. Follow these simple steps to get started:

Open a new Google Sheets spreadsheet.

Click on “Get add-ons” to access the Google Workspace Marketplace.

Open a new Google Sheets spreadsheet.

Type “Coefficient” in the search bar and select the first app that appears.

Navigate to the "Extensions" menu and select the "Add-ons" option in Google Sheets.

Click “Allow” when prompted to grant Coefficient access to your Google Account.

Search for "Coefficient" in the Google Workspace Marketplace.

Coefficient will now appear in the extension menu of Google Sheets.

Click “Launch” to open Coefficient in the sidebar.

Respond to the permission prompt to allow Coefficient access to your Google Account.

With Coefficient installed, you’re now ready to import your ClickUp data into Google Sheets.

Step 2. Connect Coefficient to ClickUp

Navigate to the “Import from” option in Coefficient and select “ClickUp” from the list of available platforms.

Locate Coefficient in the Google Sheets extensions menu and click the "Launch" option.

Select the ClickUp workspace you want to connect to Coefficient.

Choose the object you want to import data from. For this example, we’ll select “Get Tasks.”

Choose an existing ClickUp workspace

Fill in the required parameters as indicated by the tooltips.  

In this case, we need to provide the List ID of the ClickUp list we want to fetch tasks from. Locate the List ID in ClickUp and paste it into the designated field in Coefficient.

Step 3. Fetch ClickUp Data

Select the desired fields from the left-hand side of the Import Preview menu.

Enter the List ID parameter in Coefficient to identify the specific list from which to import data.

When finished, click β€œImport.” Coefficient will automatically push your ClickUp data to your spreadsheet.
