What is Coefficient

Coefficient is a no-code SaaS tool that enables business teams to access their company data in real-time directly from their spreadsheets and make it actionable across the organization. Whether their data lives in business applications, databases, data warehouses, or BI solutions, business users can easily work with this data without IT involvement.

Spreadsheets are the most widely used analytic software and is the mainstay of business users across companies of all sizes. Coefficient unleashes the power and flexibility of spreadsheets with live access to all the data in company systems empowering the business users to automate their workflows using the tool they already love and enjoy.

Coefficient is a VC backed startup in the SF Bay Area. The team is remote-first, seeking the best talent from any location. The founders are serial entrepreneurs whose last startup, Shopular, was backed by Y Combinator and Sequoia and acquired by Rakuten Ebates.

Role Description

We are looking for our first recruiter to help scale our hiring efforts across the company. This person will help build an effective recruiting strategy and attract top talent. You will build a best-in-class candidate experience, run a data-driven recruiting process and partner internally with hiring managers to hire the best talent. We will need a diverse set of backgrounds with relevant experience across the globe, and you will lead the charge in finding and leading these people through the hiring process. We are in growth mode and the right person will be someone who is organized, urgent and growth minded.


  • Recruit top talent for the company (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, CS)
  • Own the full cycle recruiting process from sourcing to closing
  • Track goals, metrics and performance of the hiring cycle; regularly partner with hiring teams to track progress and creatively reach new talent
  • Hire and develop recruiting talent to meet our hiring goals as a company
  • Understand and guide us on HR & foundational people systems
  • Be a tireless advocate and ambassador for Coefficient and the teams you work with!


  • Minimum 5+ years of recruiting experience, with recent experience leading a team
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in recruiting and partnering with technical and GTM teams
  • Experience managing and optimizing the entire recruiting process
  • Successful track record of direct sourcing candidates through offer negotiation and close
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • A deep understanding of SaaS businesses
  • Familiarity with ATS systems


We are building a remote-only team and looking for candidates anywhere who can work US time zone hours. Having worked remotely in the past is a plus.
